The best dish for a party and one of my favorites – the homemade guacamole. Fresh nutritious ingredients, amazing taste and only 10 minutes to make. Make it at home, buy some tortilla chips, and invite your friends to the party. I’m sure they would love it and ask you to share the recipe. I would like to share my favorite homemade guacamole recipe with everyone today.
Ingredients:
- 3 large ripe avocados
- juice of one lime
- 1/2 medium red onion
- 1 medium tomato
- 1/3 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
- 1 tsp hot green chili sauce or to taste
Cooking Direction:
- Using a sharp knife, carefully cut avocados in halves and remove pits. Use a spoon to loosen the skin of the avocado, and scoop out the flesh to a bowl.
- Mash avocados with a fork. I like not to mash it to the paste consistency but leave small chunks. This makes absolutely tasty guacamole – you would enjoy eating small pieces of this delicious fruit.
- Squeeze juice from a lime on the top and stir. The juice will give a special taste and flavor to the guacamole and also prevent avocados from discoloration – the color will remain beautifully green.
- Finely mince the onion and add it to the bowl.
- Remove seeds and juice from the tomato. Cut it into 1/4 inch pieces and add to the bowl.
- Chop fresh cilantro and also add it to the bowl.
- Mix everything to combine. Add salt and green chili sauce to taste and stir.
Enjoy while it is fresh.
